Additional career opportunities include service organizations and day care centers. Public and parochial schools are the main employers of teacher education graduates.

Graduates may select licensure and specific endorsements authorizing them to teach in a range of programs from preschool through secondary school.

The curriculum for the Education majors, including endorsement areas, is under regulation and accreditation from the Department of Education in Iowa and is subject to change upon changes in regulation made by the State.
